Swapnil Architects was started by Architect Swapnil Patil, OAA BEFA, with more than 25 years of experience in a wide variety of prestigious architectural projects in India and Canada. His vision of an architectural practice where design and execution are inseparable was behind the creation of our solid team of experienced architects, interior designers, technologists and the formation of a reliable network of affiliates in construction and building services. These collaborating teams are aligned and guided by their north star; the client. Yet, as architects, we view the community in general as a client since every space we build influences its members, their comfort, wellbeing and prosperity.

Design and Build 

We believe in a seamless project workflow from concept to completion where the architect is the client advisor, the responsible project steward and the maestro coordinating teams and ensuring an outcome that matches client expectations and regulatory standards. This process allows earlier construction kickoff and faster feedback cycle enabling greater flexibility. Compared to the consultancy contract below the project construction does not wait for a lengthy bidding and negotiation process, instead, initial operations can start as soon as legal approvals are obtained while planning and alteration for more advanced project elements can be taking place simultaneously. 

Consultancy

Our consultancy service encompasses all design and presentation materials, obtaining permits from local authorities, producing and communicating construction drawings to the main contractor and maintain the highest standard of execution.  This can be outlines into distinct phases: 

• initial consultation and schematic design. 
• Design development. 
• Permit drawings and documents. 
• Construction drawings and specifications. 
• Bidding and contractor negotiation. 
• Construction contract administration

Construction Contract Negotiation / Administration. 

In situations where a design exists and the client needs a professional party to oversee the process of construction and assign contractors. Clients can rely on our expertise in both design and execution to take his design down to earth. We have joint ventures with main contractors and a network of affiliated subcontractors with existing communication channels and a common language established through continued collaboration.
